This policy explains how DIVO handles information from website visitors and people who contact us about our services. Any additional documents needed for a shipment are agreed with the client when arranging the order.
Data in the enquiry form
The form collects your name, phone number and optional email address so we can respond and prepare a quote. On submission, we also receive the chosen cargo category or website section, interface language and a record of your consent. We handle these details through info@divointernational.com.
The website keeps the entered contact details only while the page is open and clears them when you reload it. Your browser may offer its own saving and autofill features.
We process online enquiry details and store them in Japan with your consent. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to advertising. You can withdraw consent using the contact details in this policy.
Technical information about visits
The server receives technical information about visits to load pages, maintain the website and investigate errors. We use server logs for these purposes.
The website keeps technical events about form use in page memory, without names, phone numbers or email addresses. No external analytics service is connected. To limit automated submissions and repeat requests, the server temporarily keeps hashed request identifiers and submission counters in memory. These records expire automatically and are not added to enquiry emails.
Contact by phone, email or messaging
When you contact us using the published details, you share information through your chosen channel. This is separate from completing the disabled website form. Do not include passport, payment or other unnecessary information in your initial enquiry.
We process information needed to respond to your enquiry and arrange the services you request, on the grounds permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, we request it separately.
Service providers and transfers outside Korea
The production website and email are hosted on DIVO’s own server in Japan. DIVO International Ltd receives and handles enquiries at info@divointernational.com to respond to clients and arrange the requested services.
When you submit the form, your name, phone number and optional email are transmitted over an encrypted connection to DIVO’s server in Japan and sent to the company mailbox. We request your consent to this processing and overseas storage before submission. The retention rules are set out below. You may refuse consent or withdraw it by contacting us; without the necessary details we cannot handle your online enquiry.
Following a WhatsApp link opens an external service. Its own data processing is governed by its terms. This website does not automatically insert form contact details into the message.
Retention and deletion
We keep enquiry details and correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and provide agreed services. We keep technical records for as long as needed to operate and protect the website. If the law requires us to retain particular records, we keep them for the required period.
When the purpose of processing has been fulfilled and there is no legal reason to retain the data, we delete it without undue delay or irreversibly anonymise it. Electronic records are deleted in a way intended to prevent recovery; paper records, if any, are destroyed. Records subject to mandatory retention are kept separately and used only for that purpose.
Your rights and requests
Within the limits of applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and, where processing relies on consent, withdrawal of consent. The law may impose limitations, such as mandatory retention of certain documents.
